Good day to everyone!

I will be your instructor for this course "Understanding Basic Bookkeeping".  Perhaps with this nuclear age, many of you are wondering whether Bookkeeping is still a relevant subject. But, I tell you, with my more than 50 years experience in accounting, the more the technolgical advancement grows, the more bookkeeping becomes an urgent need. Business and Bookkeeping go hand in hand. As population increases, the more new and budding businesses grow. Hence, the need of bookkeeping becomes a hell of necessity. You can see that in the newspaper everyday as a proof of what I say.

But before I start with our course, Let me introduce myself to you. I started working as a bookkeeper when I was jiust 18 years old. I had worked in two companies with an average working years of of 15 years per company. i started as a bookkeeper in the ladder of organization and because of patience and hard work, I ended up as a manager. In the first company where I worked for, I started as a bookkeeper and after 20 years I ended up as a Department Manager. In the second company, I started as a senior accountant and I ended up as Administrative Manager of Finance and Admin Department. That is over and above my being a retainer or consultant in various companies about financial matters.

Lately, I had devoted my last years in teaching and sharing to my students my knowledge and experience about bookkeeping, finance, taxation and accounting.
